  • Noyo Family Camp Adventure at Camp Noyo

Noyo Family Camp Adventure is our annual parent/Scout camping weekend at Camp Noyo (on the Noyo River west of WIllits), open to Scouts accompanied by parent(s) with siblings also welcomed.  Scouts must attend with at least one parent (or substitute parent) according to BSA Guide to Safe Scouting.

Adult volunteers, older Scouts, and Venturers on our Noyo volunteer staff lead you through a variety of activities at Camp Noyo, including swimming and boating, nature, and shooting sports.  Meals are provided starting Friday evening and concluding on Monday morning.  Participants ride the famous California Western Railroad "Skunk" Train to Camp Noyo from Willits and back out.  You may choose from arrival on Friday or Saturday, and depart on Sunday or Monday.

With Noyo Family Camp Adventure, you sign up with your pack, and your pack registers the entire contingent (whether it be 2 or 20).   ,

Contact the REC camping committee if you are an older youth or adult who would like to be on volunteer staff for Noyo Family Camp Adventure and/or the Scouts BSA Summer Camp which follows in middle of July.
