The Summit Bechtel Reserve (SBR) - the BSA's Newest High Adventure Base

The Summit is an adventure center for millions of youth and adults in the Boy Scouts of America, with a summer camp high adventure activities, training center, and all the program features needed to host the National Scout Jamboree every four years. It is the 4th BSA High Adventure Base, with the other three being the Philmont Scout Ranch, Northern Tier and Florida Sea Base.  

SBR is the beginning of the next century of Scouting. With incredible facilities and intense outdoor programs, The Summit is a place that takes kids to the limits of what they think they can do, and then goes further.
