Lodge Inductions / Service Events

Orca Lodge Inductions (sometimes reffered to as Ordeals) are held twice a year, in the spring and the fall.  The location for these currently varies between Camp Tamarancho (Marin Council), Wente Scout Reservation, and Camp Royaneh (San Francisco Bay Area Council). 

Prior to 2012, 4 Ordeals were held each year.  Two each at Camp Masonite Navarro, and Camp Riggs Johnston.

In the fall of 2015, we held our first joint Ordeal with Achewan Nimat Lodge (SFBAC).  The youth leadership planned this once we discovered that we both had our Ordeal scheduled for the same time & place at Royaneh.  While there are several improvements that could be made if we were to do a joint event again, overall, the event was a great success, and the camp ranger was very happy with the amount of work that was done with a larger workforce.
