Distinguished Service Award (DSA)

Bruce, a resident of San Rafael, California, is an Eagle Scout and a recipient of the Silver Beaver award. He is a Vigil Honor member of Orca Lodge, and commissioner for the Redwood Empire Council. For this year's NOAC he is on the Experience key staff. He is currently the Western Region Vice Chairman for Area 3. His citation reads, "Bruce works vigorously for the Order of the Arrow at all levels and the entire Western Region is better for it."

Matt Dukeman is from Eureka, California, and the Redwood Empire Council. He is an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster. Matt has provided extensive service to the OA Trail Crew program at Philmont, serving as Foreman, Assistant Director, and Director.  He also directed the Philbreak program in 2004. His nomination stated that, “Few Arrowmen have made the type of contribution to high adventure and Scouting that Matt has.”

Ray Leonard, from Petaluma CA, Sonoma-Mendocino Area Council.  He is an Eagle Scout and has served 2 terms as the Section W-3B Chief in both 1983 and 1984. Ray further cemented his legacy in Area 3 serving as NLS coordinator for 3 years. Ray was awarded an E. Urner Goodman Scholarship for his plans of becoming a professional Scouter.
