Calm Minded One

One Who Can Be Trusted

[1] It is widely believed that this is the second time “Kitty” was awarded the Vigil Honor.  The first was believed to be in the 1970’s, but many years before women were officially allowed into the Order.  We have not been able to find the record of this.  The 1991 date would correspond to the earliest that a woman could achieve Vigil after the female adviser ban was lifted in 1988.

[2] These were recorded in the National Vigil records after Mow-A-Toc was no longer a Lodge.  It appears that these had been added to correct missing entries, but we don’t have correct dates on these.
