New Orca Lodge Flap for 2018Due to the loss of all of the Orca Lodge patches in the Tubbs fire on October 9, the Lodge has introduced a new Lodge Flap. The new Lodge Flap was designed by Rudy L. in the Miwok Chapter. This is the first youth designed patch that we have had in many years. We have the WWW ghosted in the clouds, the Fleur-d-lis ghosted in the tree trunk (representing Redwood Empire Council). This new patch is available at all Lodge events. Thank you Rudy for your design & Donna for your guidance thru the design process.
The patches destroyed in the Tubbs fire included: - The previous standard issue flap (S34) with the WWW in the waves & 1915 hidden in the clouds
- The 2015 OA100 patches (with a glow in the dark arrow)
- NOAC 2015 (with a a glow in the dark arrow)
- NOAC 2009
- 20th Anniversary (2-piece issue of a North coast indian Copper shield)
- Small quantities of many of the Lodge Issues of the last 15 years
