Description
 Just north of the town of Manchester and off Highway 1, on Kinney Road, seven miles north of Point Arena is Manchester State Beach.  The wetland area is a haven for bird watchers of dozens of various migrating and year-around birds.  During the winter Steelhead fishing is good in Alder Creek and the nearby Garcia River.

 There are 48 primitive family campsites and a group campground with pit toilets and no showers. 
  Fire:  Designated fire pits only—no fires on the beach.
