Description

Reef camp is located on the west side of Coast Highway 1, just two miles south of the historic Fort Ross State Park.  A few coast redwoods and other evergreens provide some protection from sun and wind to the campground, with a natural rock formation also providing relief from ocean gusts.  Campsites are on a first-come, first-serve basis for weary roadside travelers.  Be careful on the trail down to the reefs, its steep and narrow.
