Description Located on scenic Highway 1 just south of the Sonoma-Mendocino county line, Gualala Point is a splendid combination of 195 acres of ocean, river and forest environments. The ecological diversity and balance make this park an excellent learning tool in teaching topics ranging from marine life to redwood forest habitats. The park is open year-around for vehicle and bicycling camping on a first-come, first-serve basis only. The campground is located in a redwood groove near the river with vehicle or trail access leading to the ocean shoreline. Activities - Bicycling

Facilities There are 7 walk-in/bicycle campsites and 18 family campsites; each with a table, food locker and fire ring. Over looking the ocean a visitor center is available with changing displays and a wind generator, which provides power to the center. Fire: In designated fire rings only.
