 Description
  Spring Lake Park is located in eastern city limits of Santa Rosa covering 317 acres of oak-studded woodlands, including a 72 acre lake containing bass, bluegill and trout for excellent year-around fishing. The park is owned by the Sonoma County Water Agency as a flood control project and operated by the Regional Parks Department for recreational purposes. Access to the campground portion of the park is on Newanga Avenue off of Summerfield Road; while vehicle access to the visitor center and swimming lagoon is on Violetti Road off of Montgomery Drive. Spring Lake Park is located in-between Santa Rosa’s Howarth Park and Annadel State Park, providing miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and bicycling.  FacilitiesThere are 31 family campsites available for reservation. Each includes a table, food locker and fire ring. A group campsite is also available for reservation and can accommodate 25 to 60 people. Modern restroom and shower facilities are available. A Visitor Center is located inside the park with days and hours varying. Interpretive programs are offered year-round. From Memorial Day through Labor Day a 3-acre sandy beach and warm spring fed swimming lagoon are open. Canoes, rowboats and paddleboats are available for rental with non-powered boating permitted year-round on the lake. Fire:  In designated fire rings only.
