Pomo District Chair Update

Because the weather has turned, it is easy to seek shelter and warmth.  However, the entire Scouting program is built around being outside.  All Units should build as much of the program as possible around the outdoors.  Plan camping trips.  Take hikes.  Perform community service.  Yes, even in December, January, and February!

We are blessed to live close to so many great places for Scouts to explore.  Boy Scout Troops should conduct nine camping trips each year. Cub Scout Packs should conduct at least one camping trip each year.  I challenge you to ensure that your Scouts have these opportunities each year.
