Our council is already signed up to participate as a walking entry, so all you have to do is join us. Bring your scout spirit, banners, unit flags, and at least one rose! Additionally, see if you can get into the spirit of the theme Growing Together! The 2025 theme is a celebration of Sonoma County Agriculture. Join us as we recognize and celebrate the people, the land and the animals that make the landscape of Sonoma County agriculture so special. (We can also use the theme for growing together in scouting!)
Important:
Wear your best uniform! Wear a rose, real or artificial. I will have a limited supply to offer.
All adult partners should wear a uniform or a Class B t-shirt if they don't have a uniform. (Do your best!)
Units should bring a unit flag, a banner, or both.
Don't forget to wear sunscreen (it is one of the essentials, after all)
You will need to park and walk over to us. No drop-offs may be made where we will be waiting.
The parade will be in motion starting at 10:00am. They need us in place early, so please arrive at 9:00am. Idea: Bring your breakfast to eat from 9
10am while you wait!
The parade will go west along 4th St and end on B St. in front of the mall. At that point, we will be able to walk on the sidewalks back to the festival at the square or go home.
Your unit will be responsible for its scouts after the event.

Things to remember:
No paper flyers are to be handed out to the crowd.
No items may be thrown at the crowd (not even candy).
We aren't allowed to have the crowd come towards us, but we can hand out items. You could bring something like candy, but remind your scouts not to throw it or make litter with it.
