The Vigil Honor is the highest recognition that a Lodge can bestow upon a member. At the Fall Induction weekend, 4 new Vigil Honor members were recognized. They are Brendan S., Gordon H., Alex Bleibaum, and Donna Lake. These members are highly deserving of this recognition. James E. West FellowshipThis award is given by the lodge to honor a member for extraordinary service and to make that recognition permanent by making a contribution to the Council Endowment fund. This year we honored Daniel Hemphill Lodge RecognitionsThis year the Lodge was recognized with 2 National awards. The first was an OA Service Grant to help in building the Council MakerLab. The next award was the OA Innovation Award, that was given for our successful ownership of the Council's Outdoor Ethics Program. With all of this work, Orca Lodge has finished the last requirements to be recognized as a 2016 Journey to Excellence - Gold Lodge.
